My commitment
Chris Brotherton t/a Men’s Therapy UK is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities, neurodivergent conditions, and reading difficulties. I aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What I have done
- ✓Semantic HTML elements throughout - <main>, <nav>, <header>, <footer>, correct heading hierarchy
- ✓Meaningful images have alternative text and decorative images use empty alternative text
- ✓Colour contrast is checked in light and dark themes
- ✓A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users, available on every page
- ✓Consistent body text size and layout across all pages
- ✓Keyboard-navigable interface with visible focus indicators
- ✓No auto-playing audio or video
- ✓Urgent support information is available on the Suicide First Aid page
- ✓A granular cookie consent banner - choose exactly which non-essential cookies to allow
- ✓All interactive elements have accessible labels (aria-label where needed)
