What you might want to discuss
For example:
- Workload, responsibilities or expectations you want to change.
- Difficulty switching off during time away from work.
- Decisions about boundaries, support or a change of role.
How I work with this
We can separate what is within your control from what needs a workplace discussion. That might include preparing to ask for changes, examining the expectations in play or considering a decision about work. I do not make employment or medical decisions for you.
Appointments
Start with a free welcome call to discuss what you want to work on and ask about sessions. We agree appointments separately, subject to availability.
Before you book
Questions worth asking.
I've had time off and I still feel the same. What's going on?+
We can discuss what has changed and what has not. Persistent exhaustion or other health symptoms also warrant a conversation with your GP.
Do I need to quit my job to recover?+
That is your decision. Counselling can help you examine options, practical constraints and what matters to you.
Can my employer find out I’m going?+
I do not routinely contact employers. Confidentiality has limits, including safeguarding and legal requirements, which are explained before sessions.
How many sessions does burnout usually take?+
We agree the frequency and review the work. There is no fixed recovery timetable I can promise.
Can we discuss boundaries around work?+
Yes. We can examine specific demands, your options and the practical consequences of setting a boundary.
